Catchy but the chorus is really shouty.

Admittedly I'm currently not as interested in their music as I had been since 2007, but I was still highly anticipating this. I was also a bit worried that it might disappoint, but disappoint it certainly hasn't. The chorus is just explosive and I was hooked immediately. I was a bit skeptical of the verses at first, but aside from the bit at the end of the second verse I find them great now. Love the sampling of "Tom's Diner" too. Not as good as the first two singles from "Save Rock And Roll" but still an amazing track and a brilliant comeback. Disappointed it hasn't done so well in Australia.

I feel slightly on the fence with this actually. I like the inclusion of "Tom's Diner" but their shouty vocals make it this to listen to and it feels slightly insulting to it in some way, not to seem pretentious or anything. It just doesn't shape out very well especially with such harsh vocals. Other than that it's quite plain and overall it's nothing on some of their earlier stuff.

I no longer love them as much as I did when I first fell for their music back in 2006 but I will forever have a lingering fondness for them and I think that's what lifts this track to being above decent for me.

I love how powerful this song is!! Great.

The shouty vocals are just woeful and on their own make this a song that's just not worth listening to. While bits of this are catchy I can't say I'm ever pleased whenever this song pops up every now and then. 2.25
